Syncopation, Syncopated
News & Events
In music, syncopation is the stressing of a normally unstressed beat in a bar or the failure to sound a tone on an accented beat.
1.

2.
Music. A shift of accent in a passage or composition that occurs when a normally weak beat is stressed.
Something, such as rhythm, that is syncopated.

Syncopated Concepts, LLC - Design Division is a full service advertising, marketing and graphic design firm specializing in out-of-the-box creativity. All too often advertising campaigns seem to originate in the monthly marketing cookbook where ideas are similar and creativity is stagnate.

In literal terms, Syncopation is the shifting of the normal accent, by stressing the normally unaccented beats. Interpreting that definition allows us to look at the same idea with a completely different perspective, which in turn, provides us with the diversification that bears creative fruit though multiple industries and demographics.

We proudly announce Karen Millar, president of Syncopated Concepts, as the New Oxford Area Chamber of Commerce 2007 Volunteer of the Year.
